What happens in Vegas, …

...we gladly report in this NewsBlog. Especially when it comes to our first trade show appearance at the legendary SEMA Show in the metropolis of Nevada.

As the largest trade show of the automotive aftermarket sector, the SEMA Show Las Vegas offers over four days everything the heart of tuning enthusiasts desires, but also makes workshop and accessory store owners happy. The annual event of the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) has been around since 1963, and now b&m has celebrated a successful premiere as an exhibitor at the Convention Center (November 1 to 4).

According to Vice President Sales Cathy Capistrano, the b&m-KL PLUG® closing and sealing system provided a particularly intense “aha” experience at the booth: “Most visitors initially thought it was just a blind rivet nut or a conventional plug. The fact that we integrated the technology of a blind rivet into that of a closed blind rivet nut for the b&m-KL PLUG® and thus offer a unique sealing element with quite a few exciting additional features was very well received by the experts.”

The same applies to the b&m-TRIMNUT®. Capistrano says: “When we demonstrated how it works in a before-and-after example, some of the visitors couldn’t believe it.” The ability of the b&m-TRIMNUT® to remove rust and paint residue, while also repairing existing threads, even forming entirely new ones, left the audience in awe. “As a result, we have received an enormous number of inquiries from hobby tinkerers and companies for the thread-forming nut, and we are now looking forward to presenting the innovation more at other trade shows, including agricultural technology.”
