Science Meets Practice: WiGeP Visits b&m

The Scientific Society for Product Development* in Ober-Ramstadt: As part of their 2025 Spring Conference, several members of the competence network paid us a visit. They work for companies such as ThyssenKrupp, Trumpf, and Porsche.

During a production tour, we were able to provide insights into our processes – with a special focus on our manufacturing method b&m-ECCO TEC® (Ecological Coldforming Technology) which was recognized in the TOP100 Innovation Competition.

Additionally, our colleagues Lutz Büttner and Maximilian Korte had the opportunity to give a keynote lecture at TU Darmstadt: “From Trader to Industrial Pioneer: The Disruptive Journey of baier & Michels” – a topic that sparked many exciting discussions.
