b&m-RINU®

Blind rivet nut for the application of a thread in thin-walled components

The b&m-RINU® technology makes it possible for thin-walled components to be connected to each other and to apply a full thread regardless of the application’s support material. When compared to cylindrical blind rivet nuts, the b&m-RINU® Hex with its hexagon shaft provides a form closure in the provided hexagonal hole.

Functional principle

Once installed, a metric thread is ready for mounting additional components. There are two blind rivet nut versions, each tailored for different materials and featuring various head forms and shaft geometries, ensuring precise adaptation to your application needs.

Benefits

  • Simple, cost-effective, automated assembly possible
  • Ideal for different material pairings
  • No risk of surface damage or heat distortion
  • High torque absorption possible
  • Creates a high-quality thread in thin-walled components
